“As a Fierro, I’m making a collective decision, we’re never going home, Noah.”

He’s relaxed on a sun lounger at the side of the infinity pool I’m basking in.

He smirks like he thinks I’m joking.

This is heaven. Grenada is everything I wanted it to be, and so much more.

Noah has gone above husband of the year with our vacation.

Not only are we in a private villa that looks like something out of a Hollywood movie, but we also have a chef and a buggy to get us around the island. The first morning we arrived, Noah arranged a spa day where I was rubbed, massaged, and buffed until my skin glowed.

“I’m good with that, kitten.”

“You think I’m joking. You better call your parents to let them know we live here now.”

I hear the grin in his silky tones. “I’ll get right on that.”

Our villa is halfway up a cliffside and the pool overlooks the ocean. Just miles and miles of idyllic blue.

It’s the break we needed because Noah appears more relaxed here, too, with his sex on a stick golden tan coating his lean body.

He’s not the only one who can organize surprises. I just have to get him down to the beach later for the moonlight picnic so I can be a romantic wife and woo him. On arrival late last night we fell into bed, so no canoodling happened, and this morning we only made out a little before my spa treatments.

I intend to romance the villain right out of him.

With my arms on the edge of the infinity pool and my legs treading water, I watch him reading his book. It’ll probably be some billionaire biography. I prefer a nice dirty romance where the woman gets her brains banged out on every chapter by an antihero. I’m a simple girl from the south and Noah, the lucky man, gets all my romance book expertise taken out on his willing body.

Now I’m tingly as I go through the series of things I want to do to him.

“I can feel you staring, kitten,” he says, laying the Kindle on his lap. He’s wearing aviator shades, but I know those deep-sea-colored eyes are trained on me when I grin at him.

“I was having debauched thoughts.”

“Oh, yeah? Climb out and tell me a few.”

Instead, I lift my arms until he sighs and throws his legs over the lounger to stride across to me. I’m hoisted out from under my armpits. “Lazy.” He accuses.

“I was making you feel all strong and macho; you’re so welcome, Noah.”

“You spoil me.” He’s so droll.

Waiting until Noah has retaken his seat before I fold down on top of him, unconcerned that I’m soaking him from my dip in the pool. In this heat, I’ll be dry in seconds. A hand slides to the curve of my fuller hip that bears the white lines of birthing Fierro babies, and he plays with the string of my ombre bikini.

“Are you hungry?”

“I could eat, but I’m so comfortable.” I wriggle a little to prove my point, and he groans, stilling me with a tight hold.
